Adventures in Biblical Thinking Study Series Volume One

by Dr. Elden Daniel

How easy it is to misunderstand the Bible in our world full of noise –  Dr. Elden Daniel, veteran Christian, authors his series of books of biblical study. Adventures in Biblical Thinking Study Series Volume One is the foundation for anyone interested in digesting the truths spoken by the Word of God and prominent figures in the Christian faith, such as Dallas Willard and Oswald Chambers.

In this book (or audiobook, depending on your choice), Dr. Daniel brings up the main themes of biblical passages, such as the value of Love, Truth, the Trinity, and the Lord’s Return, among others. He analyzes each topic under the scope of the Word Itself as per the New Living Translation (NLT) version of the Bible.

Then the author invites us to discuss the themes through questions formulated by him, using a straightforward and transparent way with words that can reach any believer’s heart. The Holy Scriptures get their well-deserved respect since the author does not take the chance to push any personal agendas.

His words are but those of a guide, and he makes it clear in every chapter.

As said in Matthew 18:20, “Where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Therefore, the Volume One of Adventures in Biblical Thinking Study Series can be just the perfect tool to shepherd a small group of believers. It has all the necessary theoretical support to organize and promote healthy teaching and learning of the virtues brought by the Kingdom of God. And since it is the first book of the series, the reader will be able to follow Dr. Elden Daniel’s work through his other books and build a small library that will be just as the rock found in the Word, in Matthew 7:24, the basis that the uncertainties of life won’t shake.
