Skyler’s Invisible Thread

by Seana Coughlin

“Earth Angels have special qualities in their heart that keep them connected to Heaven while they live on earth.”

Author Seana Coughlin dedicates a story of never-ending love to her son in this beautifully illustrated story, “Skyler’s Invisible Thread.”

As a mother with an earth daughter and a son in heaven, she illustrates how a loved one’s everlasting presence forever lingers in our lives. Connected by an invisible thread, a higher power guides these angels on earth. As they live on with their families, this invisible thread connects them to heaven, guiding them to their ultimate destiny before they return to God’s home.

The book continues with a few snippets of personal memories—from Skyler’s favorite color and their family dog, Honey. With beautiful artwork and personal thoughts about her son, readers can expect a book that touches their hearts and souls. Despite Skyler no longer being a part of this earthly realm, his name and invisible thread are forever immortalized and preserved in this incredible work of love. With the story already touching hearts from the start, reading Skyler’s response to his mother’s words in the story is a real tear-jerker to the very end.

There is nothing quite like the love between a mother and her child. Despite Skyler returning to heaven, his impact lives on through his mother’s work, the colorful pages of this book, and the message of letting his loved ones know that his presence will always be there. His invisible thread lives on, even if we cannot see it ourselves.

I urge anyone who gives this lovely book a shot. From parents teaching their children the power of never-ending love to how to handle grief—this story is brief yet powerful. As an incredibly moving work, it would be a great addition to anyone’s growing library for their children.
